The objectives of the project are to:
Reduce economic inactivity among women.
Support women to transition from community-based education to further education.
Provide an accessible liaison service for women and the employment sector.
Support women in skills acquisition, training, and networking to access employment
Increase women’s employability through qualifications gained and a range of transferrable skills.
Phase I will see the Project recruit participants and deliver confidence building, personal development, employability skills, IT skills and mentoring to participants. This Phase is incredibly important as this work will be crucial in equipping participants with the skills and tools to stay engaged on the project throughout the phases as well as for consolidation of learning between Phases.
Phase II will see tutors in consultation with participants determining which of the accredited TWN Pathway Training Routes they will undertake. The Project will offer the following Pathway Training Routes to aid in participants’ journeys into employment/further education:
