2 day Mentoring Workshop (date: TBA)
Mentoring – can you afford to ignore it?
In today's economic climate it would seem that training is the first thing to go from the company budget, comments from employers can range from "it's not worth it" or "we've more important things to spend money on" to "we simply can't afford it ". However the reality for most, if not all, employers is that they cannot afford not to invest money on training thereby ensuring that in tough times as well as in good times they have a highly skilled staff that can give them an edge over their competitors.
Understanding the financial difficulties faced by many organisations we have put together a 2-day workshop covering the key skills required for effective mentoring within the workplace. This workshop is targeted at organisations that realise the value of creating inter-work relationships that allow for the development of skills in-house, who wish to have a more effective workforce, and who are seeking innovative ways to both develop and motivate their staff thereby improving service to internal and external customers.
Training ... can you afford not to ... that is for you to decide but if you think you may be interested in exploring further how you can maximise training just give us a call — you might be surprised how cost effective it can be.
The workshop will cover 4 main aspects of mentoring and participants will have the opportunity to put their learning into practice. Candidates will be provided with an in-house certificate that will indicate commitment to personal development.
- Understanding what mentoring is (and what it is not)
- Identifying the benefits of effective mentoring
- Exploring the KEY skills of mentoring
- Examining a range of mentoring approaches
Cost per person £75 (Tea, coffee, biscuits supplied, lunch is not provided.) For further information contact Lesley Reilly e-mail: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
